I am a very picky coffee drinker. Everyone has their vices: Coffee is mine. I started a new commute for work and was looking for a place that is on par with my favorite local spot. This is it. The owner roasts his own beans and man, he does it well. Don't sleep on this place. It's an absolute gem and has quickly become part of my daily routine.

Hello and I want to let you know that the service and beverages here were phenomenal. I had a lengthy conversation with the barista. And yes I will be back. Thank you for your exceptional service. The only bone I have to pick is the early closing time. But as with all good things they sometimes have a caveat. Thank you for reading May you be well, happy & peaceful.

Life is an act. With whom we choose to keep our time…depicts which role we like to play the most. Coffee is ritual to some habitual to others. If I could allocate the gallons I consume yearly I’d dedicate a shockingly large percentage to Royal Mile Roasts. It’s damn good. This cafe is located in the most nondescript location wedged like a cheese between an intersection of two small streets. If you know…you know. If you don’t…It takes a moment to muster up the courage to open the large solid door leading to the unknown. Is this someone’s apartment? Is this a corporate office? (Door opens and the aroma of the beans smack you) Is this…is this…the promise land??? Decor is minimalist and calming with no clutter and just the right amount of everything everywhere. Exposed brick. Potted plant life. Modern furniture. A super dope wood slab bar mounted under some large optimistic windows inviting in gobs of sunlight. It’s a caffeinated oasis of serenity where one could lose track of time. A very solid house roast offering was on IV Drip while a few cold brews were on tap waiting to be drafted. If you need something for the road there are also some cleverly named canned varieties of the coldbrews. A plethora of whole bean coffee bag options colorfully decorate the counter letting you know that this ain’t your average roaster. Simply put…Royal Mile has a championship roster. Quality over quantity is the name of the game in regards to the pastries display. There are few options but the options are so exceptional looking that you have no option but to choose one. I went with this thick decadent Strawberry Glazed Croissant Donut thingy (CroNut) and myyyy goodness…it’s like life just gets better by the bite. While sitting parked in my truck eating it I got rear ended by a one legged bicyclist texting. I vigorously exited my vehicle while still eating the pastry with my coffee in hand and … I apologized…then got back in my truck. That explains my how high my level of joy was

Fantastic coffee and great people. My husband said the vanilla latte was the best he's ever had. We love the pastries, too. Very kind service and they always take care to get your order perfect. I wish it was open every day!

After dropping off something for one of my peeps, I finally got a chance to stop by Royal Mile Coffee Roasters in Gloucester City. With their other location in Haddon Township and a warehouse in Cherry Hill, this one that is tucked back off of Broadway and has been on my list of cafes to try. The curb appeal is unassuming, but the bright red steps give a clue to the fun and relaxed atmosphere inside. There was a patron enjoying an early morning cup of joe on one of the couches and I was immediately greeted by the friendly barista. After telling him this was my first visit, he filled me in on all things Royal Mile. Royal Mile, freshly roasts all their beans out of a warehouse in Cherry Hill. The owner likes to mix things up (as you can see from both the specials for the upcoming months and the names of the coffees in the photos). They also serve pastries from local bakeries. I did pass on food this time. But I did enjoy the coffee of the day, Columbia Wilson Padres, and could not resist getting a bag of coffee celebrating the Flyers, Gritty Jawn. The coffee of the day was good, but I probably wouldn’t get that particular roast again. However, the Gritty Jawn, was incredibly delicious when I brewed it at home. I am actually almost out. I need to go back to get more! Their merchandise wall is fun and filled with locally appropriate items for our sports fans. Check out the photo for more information or visit the store to see for yourself. If you like coffee, scratch that, if you LOVE coffee, stop by Royal Mile Coffee Roasters. You’ll leave with good coffee and a good vibe. #trustkj

The best coffee shop hands down. Royal Mile has the most unique and boujie coffee. The owner is really passionate about the coffee he brings into the shop and he also does the roasting himself too. Flavors vary from fruit bombs to more rich coffee flavors. Pour overs are my go to, but the lattes, americanos, and cappuccinos are really good too. They also have the best cold brews that are Philly sport teams themed! Never have had a bad experience coming to this shop. Always have had good conversations with the staff and owner. Everyone is chill and down to earth. Baked goods are also really good! There are other beverage options in addition to coffee. Good vibes, friendly staff, amazing coffee; everything you could possibly hope for in a coffee shop!

My first time to Royal Mile will not be my last! I was looking for a good latte on a dreary Saturday and what I found is easily my new favorite coffee in NJ. When I walked in, I was greeted by the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met in terms of all things coffee. He took the time to explain the constantly rotating coffee roasted by Royal Mile from farms all over the world as well as the regularly offered roasts. He also explained their espresso based drink options and told me about their two caffe locations in addition to the local warehouse where they roast coffee. The latte I had was exceptional as was the chocolate croissant I couldn’t resist. I also left with three bags of beans (house blend, breakfast blend, and a light roast from Ethiopia), which I’ve now brewed all of at home. Each roast was amazing and shined in different ways.

Long time fan. Best roaster in the area, no question. Great latte and cortado, and I really enjoy their matcha. Everything is carefully sourced and never burnt. I am also a big fan of the cold brew cans.

First time at this location. Great atmosphere, awesome barista. Latte art is never expected, but supurb latte art skills as well! Beautiful swan heart in a tiny cortado cup. I already know the coffee is awesome as I sometimes purchase beans from the Oaklyn location. Atmosphere is very nice tables are full with some folks working on couches, but it is not overwhelming noisy like some other coffee shops may be.

Best roaster in the area. Every bag I’ve picked up has been great, guy who runs it really knows his coffee and is genuinely passionate about it, which comes through. The cappuccino art is pretty impressive too if you’re grabbing a drink while you’re there. Great coffee shop atmosphere. Highly recommend.
